Asst. Executive – Soap Plant/Finishing Line At Pwani Oil

We are seeking a highly motivated assistant to run Soap Plant, Finishing Line and Bagging section efficiently ensuring full capacity utilisation with focus on efficient machine/equipment use, optimal deployment of human resources, right at the first time, meeting or exceeding set quality standards, adhering to specifications in direct input use and compliance with operational system such as QMS, GMP, 5s and all set standards on health and safety and general cleanliness.
The incumbent is responsible for a shift Production output.
Principal Accountabilities
Efficient utilisation of machine capacity realising output targets for each machine /equipment.
Ensure product quality standards are met/exceeded.
Adhere to specifications in manufacturing of Soap Noodles and Toilet soap as per customer specifications
Ensure correct weight and TFMs of all soaps produced in the Finishing Line
Daily reporting on log sheets provided, getting it signed by the appropriate people and handed it
Waste Reduction
Efficient use of manpower and utilities
Manage machine down time to minimal levels.
QMS, GMP, 5s and health and safety standards are maintained.
Monitor performance of subordinates and provide leadership in their development.
Implementation of continuous improvement activities.
Continuous reduction of Utility consumption, zero leakages and improvement of other areas where utility consumption can be reduced.

Job Description

Help develop setting and enforcing all SOP
Timely delivery of production plan
Work out human and material resource needs for production runs
Oversee compliance to QMS, GMP and 5s
Ensure safety procedures for tasks are observed

Job Features
Bachelor's Degree BSc. in plant engineering, food technology or similar academic qualifications with grounding in industrial processing.
Experience Level 3 Years or above
