Job Purpose
As the Content Manager, you’ll take full accountability for developing and executing our Africa content strategy which will be focused on four countries across the continent. You will be in charge of writing, editing and distributing digital content across multiple channels including social media, blog posts & thought leadership platforms. You’ll be a pro at using first-hand data to create content to ensure conversion and content to be optimised for SEO purposes.
As our Digital Content Manager, you will work remotely for an initial duration of 3-6 months. You will work in close proximity to our Head of Marketing and CEO.
Responsibilities will include:
Shaping our overall written and visual social, paid, web, newsletter, blog, search and script content – utilizing both static and video to create maximum impact.
Researching on African and emerging market trends.
Ensuring our content is SEO optimized, helping us reach our consumers through digital touchpoints.
Craft written word that complements our visual (and vice versa, of course)
Test and learn your content (we’re ever-adapting)
