Requirements For Appointment
i) Must a Kenyan citizen

ii) Relevant work experience five (5) years

iii) Bachelor?s degree in any of the following disciplines; physics, mathematics, chemistry, computer science law, information communication technology, instrumentation, engineering (mechanical/electrical/electronic), microprocessors, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

iv) Master?s degree in any of the following disciplines; physics, mathematics, chemistry, computer sciences law, information communication technology, instrumentation, engineering (mechanical/electrical/electronic), micro processers, business administration or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

v) Advanced certificate of the institute of trade standards administration (Kenya)

vi) Be a member of the institute of trade/standards administration (Kenya)

vii) Certificate in Strategic Leadership and Development Programme from a recognized institution

viii) Certificate in computer application from a recognized institution

Responsibilities

To oversee setting up testing equipment during inspection and recording test results during inspections andinvestigations; sampling prepackaged goods for quantitative analysis, preparation, and submission of annual reports
