Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join their team in Kiambu County. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of culinary experience, a diploma in Culinary Arts, and a proven track record of working in high-end, 3 to 5-star hotels. The Chef will be responsible for creating and executing high-quality menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Menu Planning and Development:
Design and update menus that reflect creativity, quality, and seasonality.
Ensure menus cater to a diverse clientele, including special dietary requirements.
Kitchen Operations Management:
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
Ensure kitchen staff adhere to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cost control.
Team Leadership:
Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
Schedule and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Quality Control:
Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency to maintain the highest standards.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Customer Experience:

Requirements
Qualifications:
Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field.
