Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon At Aga Khan Hospital Kisumu

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
Reporting to the Head of Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality orthopedic services to both outpatients and inpatients He/She will be expected to be an active member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team at the hospital and contribute to the hospital's continuing professional development programmes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include treating musculoskeletal trauma through both non-surgical and surgical methods, managing musculoskeletal tumors in collaboration with the oncologist, performing joint arthrodesis and joint replacement surgeries, conducting arthroscopy, carrying out amputations, performing limb salvage procedures, and providing specialized care in pediatric orthopaedics.

REQUIREMENTS
M. Med Orthopaedic surgery from a recognized university.
Must be registered/licensed by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
Valid Practice License from KMPDC.
At least two years working experience
