Deputy Director, Test Development (Teacher Assessments) – 1 Post At Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec)

Aligning syllabuses to assessments;Developing assessment regulations and guidelines;Training and recruiting setters and moderators;Preparation of assessment timetables;Coordinating development of assessment tools/papers;Analyzing assessment test items/papers and preparing feedback reports;Conducting performance appraisal of officers in the department;Capacity building of teacher trainers in assessment;Coordinating pre-testing of test items;Preparing and implementing approved departmental work plan, procurement plan, and budget;Coordinating validation of marking schemes during marking;Developing and implementing effective risk management strategies;Chairing Course and awards Panel meetings;Ensuring security and confidentiality of all examination/assessment materials;Advising the Director, Test Development on any issues relating to test development.
