Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Dispatch Operations:Oversee the day-to-day dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries of orders to customers.
Team Management:Lead, motivate, and manage the dispatch team, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring a high level of efficiency and productivity.
Inventory Management:Work closely with the warehouse team to monitor stock levels, coordinate the picking of products, and ensure orders are accurately packed and dispatched.
Order Coordination:Liaise with the sales team to ensure that customer orders are prioritized and dispatched in accordance with agreed timelines.
Quality Control:Conduct quality checks on all outgoing products to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations.
Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate dispatch records, generate daily reports, and track deliveries. Address any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Customer Interaction:Address customer concerns related to deliveries and resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Safety and Compliance:Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the dispatch area to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hardware or logistics environment.
Leadership Skills:Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively, with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Attention to Detail:Strong focus on accuracy and quality control in order processing and dispatch.
Problem Solving:Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technology Proficiency:Familiarity with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
