We seek to recruit 4 freelance sales people to sell our Hand sanitizer and Tissue papers to corporates and institutional clients within Nairobi.

Job Description

We are in the sector of manufacturing consumer hygiene products. Our main products are Baby Diapers, Sanitary towels, Tissues, Hand Sanitizer.

In this role you will be expected to make every effort to optimize your sales performance and engage in activity on a daily basis that will facilitate this goal. You must therefore be smart, able to present themselves and do presentations to corporate clients. (Hotels, Factories, offices, big farms, Airport pack houses, schools, hospitals and clinics). You are expected to be in the field at least 50% of your working time, but 75% is ideal as the Company has found that significant time in the field relates to success in sales.

WORK CONDITIONS
The Freelance sales people will earn a small retainer of 20,000/= and performance based commissions. The retainer is attached to the sales person achieving a given minimum target.
They will moving using public means and the retainer will take care of their transport costs.
The orders generated by the Reps will be transported by the company.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Scheduling appointments and meeting new and existing customers in order to identify and qualify potential prospects and present current product offers.
You should be able to open accounts for the clients.
Effective planning to conduct sales presentations by meeting customers physically on daily basis.
Provide professional demonstrations or presentations of Company products and services while onsite.
Liaising between the Company and the customers for up-to-date pricing, service, and latest product-release launches.
Identifying and qualifying prospective customers through research, networking, and cold-calling.
Continuously updating all prospects on Company product modifications, changes, and enhancements.
Enhancing up-to-date knowledge on new products, procedures, and services by attending departmental and training meetings.
Maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the Company in a positive manner.
Effectively attending conferences and trade shows, where applicable.
Using marketing data to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency by using relevant sales management tools.
Preparing reports for sales and marketing and maintaining accurate expense accounts.
Updating and maintaining customer account records, including contact names and numbers for future sales.
Providing product quotes to customers as needed.
Aggressively following up on business opportunities.

QUALITIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Holder of a diploma in Sales and Marketing or equivalent.
At least one year experience in FMCG sales and marketing.
Must possess good communication skills both written & verbal,team working skills, Interpersonal & networking skills.
Should have strong work ethics.
Demonstrate strong product knowledge, client relation, and presentation skills
Highly self motivated, reliable, hardworking, enthusiastic, with the ability to perform multiple assignments at the same time
Effective communication with customers, as well as strong follow-up skills
Ability and willing to work on weekend and even on holidays
Ability to learn the art of professional greeting and attracting passive consumers, as well as show passion to follow-up calls and sales activities
Possess self-confidence, positive mentality, with the ability to manage territories effectively
