About The Founding Team
As a member of the founding team, you will be the entrepreneur launching the organisation in your city - and then growing it to its full potential. You will build a team and relationships with corporate partners, establish a local brand, and develop a community of leaders and entrepreneurs to establish the company as the catalyst for top talent in your city. You will have full P&L responsibility for your city and will be expected to grow operations from $0 to at least $15m in revenues within 5 years.
As the General Manager, you will be the local leader of the company and fully responsible for building, developing and growing the company, your team and the P&L. You will lead and manage the business, be the face to the community and empower your team to do incredible things.
What You'll Do As General Manager
Shape the culture of all community and staff members in line with the vision and ensure its translation into community and staff experience and every element of the value proposition
Responsible for the financial results across all offerings
Build, inspire and lead a local team of passionate and driven individuals to ensure they deliver at their peak and love what they do
Deliver on the core parts of the value proposition of select, develop, place and invest in talent within the organisation
Build, navigate and manage key stakeholder relations and a network of leaders in the community - corporate partners, media and other external affairs
Be the 'Face' to the entire community, and to external world in your city
Monitor and evaluate impact, effectiveness and efficiency of the company through data-driven assessments cost efficient
Build systems and processes that contribute to making the company scalable and highly profitable
What You'll Need
5+ years of relevant experience in Startups, fast growing business functions within corporations, consulting or ops management
Experience in managing large, high-performing teams and multiple stakeholders
Experience running a P&L
Versatility to manage and execute across a multitude of functions
An eye for great talent and the ability to unlock its potential

Skills: Problem solving, interpersonal, project management, negotiation & empathy
