Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the ITF Rwanda including project planning, implementation, monitoring & evaluation, and budget oversight:
Relationship Management:
Facilitate and coordinate all affairs related to the ITF in Rwanda.
Maintain relationships with current partners and establish new connections with local, international organizations, individuals, communities, and government bodies..
Fundraising and Grant Writing:
Identify and prepare grant proposals and fundraising strategies for the ITF in Rwanda operations.
Volunteer Recruitment:
Place job advertisements, shortlist candidates, conduct interviews, and follow up on volunteer applications and onboard selected volunteers in accordance with ITF human resource and recruitment policy.
Hire, train, supervise, mentor and evaluate ITF Rwanda volunteer staffs/members in accordance with ITF human resource and recruitment policy
Project Compliance:
direct the project location selection process in accordance with project's location eligibilities
Secure permits, agreements, licenses, and certificates, including RGB certificates and MOUs with MINEDUC Rwanda, required for project implementation and ITF existence in Rwanda.
Reporting and Evaluation:
Write project reports, annual reports, weekly ,monthly, and quarterly staff evaluation reports.
Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly evaluations of volunteers in ITF Rwanda.
Operational Coordination:
Manage day-to-day operations of ITF in Rwanda, coordinating activities and volunteers.
Representation:
Represent ITF Rwanda in local and international programs, including conferences, events, and seminars.
Financial:
Direct the ITF Rwanda financial records and financial reporting in compliance with ITF financial policy.
Basic Knowledge &Skills required:
The applicant must possess or is extremely eager to learn and passionate about the following knowledge/skills and is able to demonstrate, that the essential functions of this position can be performed:
Hold (or be a current student pursuing)at least a Bachelors Degree in related fields such as International Relations; Communications, marketing etc,
Possess knowledge in current issues and best practices relating to international youth development;
Ability to come up with creative ideas for communication and promotional materials, fundraising, identify potential opportunities for raising funds and write grant proposals,
Have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing (minimally in English), excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to work with individuals from different cultures,
Possess basic computer skills including graphic communication and social media management,
Ability to maintain an established work schedule, with or without flexibility,
Strong organizational and management skills- ability to multi-task and prioritize,
Motivated to learn and take on new challenges

For volunteers, a minimum of six months commitment is required.
