Laboratory Technologist At Homa Hills Community Development Organization

Reporting to:
The Project Team Lead/HIV Services Lead
Key Competencies
Capability of performing tests in a clinical laboratory sections;bacteriology,haematology,immunology,chemistry,parasitology and serology
Full knowledge and understanding of quality control protocols.
Full knowledge and understanding of Infection Prevention Control (IPC) Procedures

Qualifications
Minimum Diploma in laboratory science from a recognized institution.
Valid practicing license from KMLTTB
Computer literacy
At least three years' experience in laboratory work
Work Experience in a comprehensive care center (CCC) setup will be an added advantage

Summary of Roles
Providing efficient and effective laboratory examination as per the SOP manuals and report the test results.
Perform and adhere to daily quality assurance and quality control procedures
Dispatching medical reports to clinical team
Undertake Procurement of lab equipment and laboratory reagents
Coordinating all activities taking place in the laboratory
Compiling reports of laboratory and store activities regularly and when required.
Correctly dispose of biohazardous materials, labeling and handling of all materials.
Adhere and adapt to organizational goal, objectives and standards of performance policies and procedures
Other Roles as shall be assigned by the Team Lead. /HSL
