Laundry Attendant At Aga Khan Academy

The position
The Laundry attendant will be responsible for undertaking tasks relating to setting up and maintaining laundry for the residential students, cleanliness of the house and taking care of the general welfare of dorms.

Duties and Responsibilities
Manage day to day laundry of students clothes and shoes.
Change linen and ensure mosquito net are clean and functional.
Ensure rooms are clean and safe for students.
Ensure laundry area and dorms are clean, neat and well kept.
Check and report maintenance issue to the supervisor.
Clean, dry, press and fold students laundry.
Keep track and deliver laundered items back to the students after laundry.
Observe all precautions needed for infection control according to laid down procedures.
Help return items of bedding and linen to the linen store where required.

The requirements
O-Level / GCSE certificate
Be fluent in English and Kiswahili.
Physically fit for the job.
Good sense of time management.
Knowledge in housekeeping, equipment and cleaning different surfaces
