Role Purpose The Maintenance Supervisor will effectively develop and implement follow-up preventive maintenance programs for all machines, equipment and other facilities and installations on site for maximum life, productivity and efficiency.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Total Productive Maintenance Provide sound technical and engineering maintenance advice for equipment, machines, and facilities improvement.Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and advise on procurement needs.
Accurately trouble shoot and promptly resolve machine breakdown minimize EDT and repeat breakdown.Support and develop AM teams to be able to maintain their machines.Project Planning and Implementation In liaison with Plant Manager and other Department Heads, identify Capex and Major Repair Maintenance projects.Lead and manage Capex and Opex projects to ensure they are completed within the scheduled timelines and budgeted cost.Compliance, Inspections and Maintenance Services Ensure that all approved projects are compliant with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements during implementation.Ensure all equipment and utility services within the Plants comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements.Food Safety Ensure FSMS (ISO 22000:2018) and maintenance process controls are practiced and audit citations on the same are closed.
Uphold Good Manufacturing programs / procedures while conducting maintenance works
Ensure timely action closure of all FSMS/ biosecurity issues in the Plant
Safety Health and Environment (SHE) Promote Safety & Health of all workers in Maintenance department and contractors
Investigate all near misses, accidents and incidents and ensure timely closure of preventive measures
Ensure timely SHE audit action closure
Continuously coach and mentor to develop direct reports.
Skills & Experience A Bachelor's degree in either Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering (Plant Option)
Knowledge in FSMS/GMP/ISO/HACCP will be an added advantage
At least three (3) years supervisory experience in a busy manufacturing setup.
