Market Research Intern At Medtronic

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Conduct in-depth research of the macroeconomic conditions of assigned countries relevant for healthcare sector and medical device industry
Support with assessing the medical device market, including market size, growth potential, and key players
Map out available healthcare financing, including foreign investment
Help to identify key short, mid and long term opportunities for medical device industry

Required Knowledge:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a master's degree in economics, public health, business, market research, or a related field.
Proficiency in English
Based in Nairobi, Kenya
Strong analytical and research skills with ability to synthetize and report out
Strong analytical and research skills with ability to synthetize and report out
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Would be a plus:
Familiarity with the healthcare sector and/or medical device market
Previous experience in market research or data analysis
