REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in education with a concentration in early childhood education
Certification in Montessori education
Experience in a Montessori environment
Experience with keeping the environment safe and conducive to learning
Knowledge of Montessori materials and techniques
Knowledge of child development and psychology
Ability to work effectively with children and parents from diverse backgrounds

RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement the curriculum and Montessori philosophy
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the Montessori Method and meet individual student needs
Design and prepare a stimulating and organized environment for learning
Observe and track student progress, and provide ongoing feedback to students and parents
Encourage independence and decision-making skills in students
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and overall classroom activities
Assist in scheduling, maintaining, and updating school records
