The Offer Work alongside & learn from best in class talent Opportunity to make a positive impact Opportunity within a company with a solid track record of performance The Job You will be responsible for : Working closely with Team Executives as well as other support functions to provide proactive and effective general administrative assistance across a diverse range of tasks. Scheduling and coordinating meetings. Making travel arrangements and preparing expense reports. Providing other organisational support such as ordering supplies and equipment. Handling a range of trust administration responsibilities including drafting trust documentation, minutes and resolutions. Assisting with client onboarding and KYC processes and ensuring documentation is complete. Facilitating bank account opening. Ensuring the database contains accurate and up to date information. Documenting all financial transactions and monitoring company accounts. Managing account receivables and payables, posting financial transactions to the accounting system and making bank deposits. Administering leave records, medical and insurance claims. Liaising with building management on any facilities related issues. Managing and maintaining executives' schedules and appointments. Arranging and coordinating meetings and events. The Profile The role of the Programme Coordinator requires an energetic and result orientated individual, capable of working with minimum supervision and with an impressive track record of comparable experience within the NGO/ INGO sector. Post graduate qualification in Public Health/ Management/ Other Social Sciences. Five years of experience in the health sector with key experience and responsibility covering all areas of project cycle. Expertise in developing project proposals and budgets. Good understanding of development policies and emerging trends. Basic understanding of financial management/ accounting with good numerical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good IT skills including MS Office. Ability to work under pressure. Self-motivated, self-starter. Willingness to travel extensively. Working Conditions and Job Requirements Stationed in Kajiado Frequent travel to country programmes and project locations within the country. Flexible working hours to accommodate Calgary office hours (Mountain Time). Act as an ambassador for Operation Eyesight in a variety of professional and social settings.  The Employer Our client is a 60-year-old international development organization working to prevent blindness and restore sight.
