Responsibilities
Developing, implementing and evaluating assigned programmes/projects; monitors and analyzes programme/project development and implementation; review relevant documents and reports; identifying problems and issues to be addressed and initiating corrective actions; liaising with relevant parties; ensuring follow-up actions.
Performing consulting assignments, in collaboration with the client, by planning facilitating workshops, through other interactive sessions and assisting in developing the action plan the client will use to manage the change.
Researching, analyzing and presenting information gathered from diverse sources.
Coordinating policy development, including the review and analysis of issues and trends, preparation of evaluations or other research activities and studies.
Generating survey initiatives; designing data collection tools; reviewing, analyzing and interpreting responses, identifying problems/issues and preparing conclusions.
Organizing and preparing written outputs, e.g. draft background papers, analysis, sections of reports and studies, inputs to publications. • Providing substantive backstopping to consultative and other meetings, conferences, to include proposing agenda topics, identifying participants, preparation of documents and presentations.
Initiating and coordinating outreach activities; conducting training workshops, seminars; giving presentations on assigned topics/activities.
Performing other related duties as required.

Education
An advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics, environmental science or a related field is required.
A first-level university degree in combination with two (2) additional years of qualifying work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Successful completion of both degree and non-degree programs in data analytics, business analytics or data science programs is desirable.

Work Experience
A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in project or programme management, administration, environment related field or related area is required.
A minimum of three (3) years work experience at the international level is required.
Experience working in an Executive Office or supporting senior management is desirable. Relevant environmental work experience in the UN context or in an international organization is desirable.
Experience in drafting and overseeing the preparation of briefings, analytical reports, and papers, ideally on environmental topics, is desirable.
A minimum of two (2) years or more of experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.
