Strategy & Innovation Analyst At Siginon Group

Job Purpose
Reporting to the Group Strategy & Innovation Manager, the job holder will be responsible for analyzing business data, conducting market research, and collaborating with teams to drive the achievement of strategic actions and innovations. He/She will also be responsible for supporting the Group with business development activities.
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth market research and collect competitive intelligence to uncover emerging trends, customer needs, and opportunities in the industry.
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies in the Group in collaboration with the Group Strategy & Innovation Manager.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic initiatives.
Support the Group Strategy & Innovation Manager in the management and execution of the innovation framework and plan.
Assess innovation ideas to determine their feasibility, potential business benefits and alignment with the overall strategic innovation plan.
Monitor the progress of major initiatives toward meeting goals and achieving benchmarks, analyzing data, ensuring follow-through on the part of key people, and sustaining momentum needed to drive initiatives through to completion and embedded practice.
Conduct sector and market reviews, locally and globally, to enable benchmarking, readiness for new business and build robust financial models and business cases to evaluate the potential return on investment (ROI) for new ventures and strategic initiatives.
Responsible for identifying the needs of business and determining the direction it needs to go in order to excel and succeed through analyzing, gathering and reviewing data and then creating relevant solutions to the company's problems.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on market trends, competitive landscape, and strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with external partners, key leaders & team members, subject matter experts, marketing, legal and any other functional teams as necessary, to accomplish goals.
Update the HOD on a regular basis; on execution and progress on assigned tasks and any arising significant strategy and innovations.

Education, Professional Qualifications & Work experience
Bachelor' Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Math or equivalent from a recognized Institution
Professional Certifications such as CPA, ACCA, ACA, CFA or CIFA is highly desired.
Minimum of three years of experience in strategy and innovation roles or equivalent position.
