Professional Requirements
Must possess Diploma or its equivalent qualification in a technical field
Must have at least three (3) years relevant work experience at Grade 6N or comparable position
Must provide evidence of computer literacy

Duties and responsibilities
Carry out practical training in line with the requirement of the Merchant Shipping (Training & Certification) Regulations 2016 and the table of competencies in the Seafarers Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) Code 1978, as amended,
Cleaning of apparatus machinery and equipment for teaching and research
Dusting of all equipment used for teaching and research
Ensuring safe storage of chemicals/Marine paints/lubricants/fuels.
Ensure disposal of laboratory and workshop wastes according to the required standards and requirements of the MARPOL convention 1973/78
Ensuring safety and security of lab apparatus and equipment
Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
