General Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting the web team in developing, supporting and continually enhancing the image and identity of the company by ensuring that graphic designs are consistent with business goals and branding standards. Creativity, understanding of user behavior and strong visual design sense will contribute to developing cutting edge web pages with a great user experience. The Web Designer will work collaboratively with other web designers and developers. Job Description: Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to developers. Perform maintenance and updates to existing designs. Designing graphic components/Newsletters and following standards across large project areas. Fulfilling several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. Creating wire-frames and design prototypes. Conducting and applying research on design practices, identifying problems and proposing creative solutions. Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards. Job Qualifications: One to two years of experience in web and graphic design. Detail-oriented and organized, with strong visual design skills, layout, typography and high graphic standards. Good working proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Technically proficient in HTML and CSS. Knowledge of usability and best practices in user-centric and data driven design for both Desktop and Mobile. Knowledge using Adobe Premiere and After Effects are an advantage.
