Wildlife Officer Ii At County Government Of Nandi

Duties and Responsibilities;
Collect and compile wildlife information and data in the county.
Provide conservation education to the general public.
Identify potential project ideas and activities in line with the wildlife section.
Liaise with Kenya Wildlife Service and other conservation agencies on behalf of the County departments.
Assist in the compilation of information and data from the industry and maintain a data base.
Identify community enterprise method to conservation.
Promote community enterprise – income generating activities (IGAs)

Requirements for appointment;
Be a Kenyan Citizen
Diploma Certificate in Wildlife Management, Natural Resources, Range Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
Have relevant knowledge and experience in a technical position in public service or private sector for at least three years in the field Wildlife Management and Conservation.
