Our client, a renowned car workshop in Ruiru is seeking to hire an Accounts assistant to be based in Ruiru, Kenya.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial tasks including tax filings, payroll, invoicing, and credit approvals, while also overseeing inventory reconciliation and financial reporting. The ideal candidate Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, at least CPA III and a minimum of 3 years' experience in general accounting.Key Responsibilities: Calculating and filing of statutory VAT, PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, WITHHOLDING VAT, PAYROLL.Reconciling Orders with receipts/deliveries.Preparing & Reconciling statements for suppliers & creditors.Liaising with directors on payment schedules.Filing receipts, Accounts parables.Approving credit facility for clients.Inventory reconciliation.Reconciling daily and period sales and expenses reports.Preparing Petty cash preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports liaising with external auditors for annual audit reports. Qualifications: Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.Must have at least CPA III.Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in general accounting.Proficiency in Sage accounting system.In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.Good analytical and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail.High professional integrity and organizational skills.Have a positive attitude and self-drive.Proficiency in use of MS Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
