Artisan (Plant Mechanics) At County Government Of Nyandarua

Requirements for appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –
KCSE mean grade D+ (plus) and above or equivalent
National Trade Test Certificate grade I for plant mechanics with a proven practical experience of having served for three (3) years as a mechanic
Knowledge in welding will be an added advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities
Inspect, maintain, repair and service of heavy and light plant machinery
Diagnosis of general faults in diesel/petrol engines
Carry out preventive maintenance to plant machinery
Care for maintenance tools of trade and other trade related work as may be assigned.
