Duties and ResponsibilitiesAn officer at this level will be responsible for:Drafting of legal documents and handling cases involving the University in liaison with University external lawyers.Advising the University on all legal matters.Writing reports and memoranda.Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.Requirements for Direct AppointmentFor appointment to this position, a candidate must:Have Bachelors Degree in law from a recognized university.Have Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.Be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a current practicing certificate.Requirements for Serving OfficersFor appointment to this position, an officer must have: -Bachelors Degree in law from a recognized university.At least three (3) years experience as a Legal Assistant I] Scale 7/8 Or its equivalent.Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance.
