Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities at this level entail: - preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, monthly valuations on site, site remeasurements; and preparing variation orders.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -
Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: - Building Economics, Quantity Surveying or its equivalent qualification from recognized institution;
Certificate in computer application skills; and
Be registered as a Graduate member of either the Architectural Association of Kenya or the Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya.
