Assistant Technician Ii (Biology, Chemistry And Physics)- 3 Position At Rongo University

For Appointment to this grade, one MUST have:
Diploma in Laboratory Technology or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
At least six (6) years relevant post qualification work experience;
Computer literacy; and
Fulfilled requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

Job Description
The duties and responsibilities shall include but are not limited to:
Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment and work surfaces;
Ensure that all laboratory areas are kept tidy and free from hazards;
Assist in setting up and dismantling laboratory apparatus;
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laboratory supplies and consumables;
Assist Technicians and Researchers with routine tasks;
