As part of our growth plan, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive, in the Consulting Division to join our team, with a strong focus on promoting our Team Building and Leadership Solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving the growth of our leadership training and team development programs. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a passion for leadership. Development, and a proven track record in business development within a corporate setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Managing Director, the role will be responsible for :
Business Development & Sales:
Identify and target new business opportunities in the corporate sector for team building and leadership training solutions.
Develop and implement strategies to secure new clients and expand existing relationships.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential clients.
Develop tailored proposals and presentations to pitch services to prospective clients.
Close sales by effectively negotiating and aligning solutions with clients' needs.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their challenges and recommending leadership and team building programs that align with their objectives.
Monitor and assess client satisfaction, ensuring high levels of service and timely delivery of solutions.
Team Building & Leadership Solutions:
Promote and sell the company's leadership and team-building services to clients.
Conduct needs assessments to understand client requirements and deliver appropriate solutions, including workshops, training, and consulting.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure programs are tailored to client specifications and delivered successfully.
Strategy Development & Reporting:
Develop and execute a business development strategy to meet or exceed sales targets.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and client feedback.
Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to enhance the positioning of leadership and team building solutions.
Networking & Brand Building:
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars related to leadership development, corporate training, and team building.
Build and nurture a network of professionals and potential clients to position the company as a leader in leadership solutions.
Leadership & Team Support:
Support internal leadership and HR teams in developing team-building programs tailored to organizational goals.
Assist in facilitating workshops and leadership sessions when required.
Contribute ideas for enhancing the company's service offerings and team development initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.
Minimum of at least 3 years of corporate sales experience with a proven track record.
Strong understanding of leadership development, team building strategies, and corporate training solutions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and closing new business.
Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in managing or facilitating leadership workshops and team building programs.
Knowledge of organizational behavior and team dynamics.
Certification in leadership coaching, HR, or related training methodologies is a plus.
