Brief DescriptionExecute daily catering operations so as to ensure seamless product delivery and efficient management of catering processes in a timely, safe and secure environment.Detailed DescriptionPrincipal Accountabilities (Responsibility)Execute planned catering activities to ensure reliability of standards and schedulesMonitor all safety and security guidelines and regulations are observed and incorporated in all operational tasksReport on catering meal uplift per flight and address any operational challengesMonitor and manage any disruptions in liaison with related stakeholdersMonitor efficient and effective loading and offloading of in-flight amenities to achieve targeted objectivesAudit catering products from catering supplier and ensure KQ specifications are adhered to at all timesMonitor waste management and over catering initiatives are in line with projected targetsVerify loading of items from the caterer and spot check on mealsMonitor and report on catering equipment return from out stationsMonitor proper loading of reading materials, landing cards, visa forms, headsets, blankets and other amenitiesMonitor meal uplifts and communicate to out stations on return cateringEnsure all SPMLs are loaded and handed over to Crew with appropriate paperwork on flights ex-NBO and back catered flightsMeet arriving flights and solicit for feedback from crew in regard to the catering product.Participate in all catering related meetings and ensure implementation of any recommendationsOrdering of out station landing cards and preparation of in-flight documents for use on boardInput meal data and do a daily reconciliation with NBO catering supplier.Ensure closure on variances dailyJob RequirementsQualification (Minimum)KCSE Mean Grade (C Plain)Advanced Diploma in catering or hospitality related fieldAdditional QualificationsCertified in catering or related fieldAt least 4 years relevant experience in cateringComputer proficiencyOrganizational and analytical skillsFood and beverage knowledgeHACCP KnowledgeValid East African PassportValid driving license with at least 2 years' experience4 years in Food and Beverage related fieldAdditional DetailsOther SkillsAbility to work with minimum supervisionUnquestionable honesty, integrity and ethicsAccuracy and attention to detailResults orientedInstant decision makingBehavioral competenciesResults focusCommunication skillsHigh Integrity and honestyCustomer insightsCost managementWaste Management
