The Chief Operations Officer (COO) will play a crucial role in leading and managing the company's production and operational activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with the CEin setting and driving organizational vision and operational strategy.
Ensure the seamless integration of production, procurement, projects, and sales departments tmaintain high standards of operational efficiency.
Develop and oversee systems for planning and scheduling tprevent production delays and ensure timely project completions.
FINANCIAL AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT Infrastructure and Technology:
Oversee the management and maintenance of the company's manufacturing facility, ensuring it is equipped with the necessary machinery and infrastructure thandle large- scale orders.
Drive technological advancements and innovation within the production process.
TEAM AND CULTURE DEVELOPMENT
Team Leadership:
Oversee a multidisciplinary team, including Production Managers, Project Leaders, Procurement Specialists, and Sales Teams.
Cultivate and mentor a high-performance culture that values efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company's values and goals.
Performance Assessment:
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), regularly evaluating operational performance against established benchmarks tdrive continuous improvement and foster a culture of excellence.

Ensure all operations adhere tlegal guidelines and in-house policies.

QUALIFICATIONS (Skills, Experience and Key Competencies)
Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years in a senior operations role within the wood, timber, joinery, or furniture industry, with a track record of successful factory and site management. In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control standards, and supply chain management within the wood products manufacturing industry.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
Skills: Strong strategic planning and leadership skills, with the ability tfoster innovation in product development and market strategy.
Proficient in data analysis and operational performance metrics.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strategic thinking.
