Duties and Responsibilities
Provide analytical support on Climate Change Programme
Assist in coordination of climate change programmes and projects in different sectors of the county.
Carryout education on programs and projects on climate change in the county
Provide technical assistance on climate change programmes and projects in the county
Promote public participatory and awareness creation on climate change programmes and projects.
Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor

Requirements for appointment
For appointment to this grade a candidate must:
Be a Kenyan citizen
Have Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: - Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Have Certificate in computer application skills.
Hands –on experience in managing Climate projects, including those funded by development agencies.
Skills in formulating climate –related policies, strategies and action plans for organizations
Membership to Environmental Institute of Kenya or relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
Any training on climate change matters is an added advantage.
