Communication Expert At Kenya Forest Service (Kfs)

Duties and Responsibilities

Implement relevant communication strategies.
Facilitate all communication training programs targeting staff, KALRO, FAO, external staff, and other stakeholders within the project area
Participate and contribute in interdepartmental planning and monitoring project activities
Spearhead effective exchange of information between the project and its publics.
Undertake communication research activities and dissemination of research findings to relevant audience within the project area.
Mentoring and coaching

Entry Requirements :

Person specification
Bachelor's degree in Communication, Social Sciences, Journalism, International Relations or other related fields of study.
Master's degree in Communication, Social Sciences, Journalism, International Relations or another relevant course from a recognized institution will be an added advantage
Served for at least six (6) years in a relevant position.
Member of a professional body such as PRSK
Proficiency in Computer applications

Good oral and written communication skills in Kiswahili and English
Time management and proper planning
