About the Client:A leading law firm in Kenya is seeking to hire an experienced, proactive, reliable Court Clerk. It has garnered experience in various sectors in Kenya.Duties & Responsibilities:Due diligence at the all Court Registries and other Government departments.Processing of Court documents.Ability to update Managing Partners and departmental diaries.Ability to prepare and bring up Court updates.Ability to uphold all court records to ensure they stay up-to-date and accessible.Liaison at all Court Registries Government departments.Drafting court documents Hearing/Mention dates and Parties Invitations and Affidavit of Service.Ensure all legal documents submitted adhere to the law and court procedures.Basic knowledge of drafting court pleadings.Qualifications & RequirementsDiploma in Law or any business related area.2 years' relevant work experience.Proficiency in computer applicationsGood command of English language and pleasant personalityA diploma in law would be an added advantage though not essentialA Valid Court Process Server Certificate is a MUSTCompetencies & SkillsSelf-MotivatedHigh IntegrityHardworkingMinimum SupervisionGood Communication Skills.Powerful Negotiation SkillsTeam playerPossess ultimate customer service skills
