Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Dart/Flutter QA Contractor to assist in a focused 2-day project. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years specifically testing Dart and Flutter applications. This is a 2-Day Contract.
Your role will involve performing in-depth testing, identifying bugs, and ensuring the overall quality and functionality of the application. You must be detail-oriented, capable of both manual and automated testing, and proficient in creating and executing test plans in a rapid development environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Thoroughly test a Flutter application.
Identify, document, and report bugs, ensuring complete defect tracking and management.
Collaborate with developers to isolate and troubleshoot issues.
Execute manual testing and write automated test scripts where necessary.
Ensure compatibility across different devices, platforms, and screen resolutions.
Deliver test plans and test reports to document findings and progress.
Create a GitHub workflow to format, lint and test the app and check for build and statical analysis
Requirements:
5+ years of professional QA experience.
3+ years of experience testing Flutter/Dart applications.
Strong understanding of Flutter widgets, state management, API integration, and UI/UX principles.
Expertise in writing and executing test cases for both mobile (iOS/Android) and web platforms.
Experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Appium, Flutter Driver, or integration testing frameworks for Flutter.
Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for Flutter applications.
Strong communication skills and the ability to document findings clearly.
Experience working in Agile or rapid-development environments.
Preferred:
Familiarity with Firebase and REST API testing.
Experience with device simulators and real-device testing.
Ability to provide suggestions for performance optimization and UI/UX improvements.
