A day in the life…
As the successful candidate, a typical day will focus on
Support Management of Business Performance:
Promote understanding of the business drivers using KPIs and comparative benchmarking
Support understanding and identification of KPIs achievement/gaps versus plans
Establish and promote clear accountabilities around target achievements and KPI delivery and performance
Ensure daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews and support internal business partners on decisions around appropriate corrective actions
Ensure decision making balances the short term with long term value
Preparing and circulating Month To Date / Year To Date Sales Update and Total Trade Spend Report for Sales, Finance & MD
Develop and maintain sales performance reports, in a manner to establish brand, category and competitor trends and insights -dashboards, and forecasts to provide actionable insights to the sales team and management.
Periodic circulation of developed reports as per requirements (ranging from daily, weekly, monthly) -Enhanced engagement of stakeholders to ensure take outs are actioned.
Maintain Sales Database: Update and maintain the sales database while ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Data safety credentials and controlled access system
Assist in Sales Reporting: Prepare and generate sales reports, including sales performance, inventory levels, and customer analytics. Provide regular updates on sales metrics to the sales team and management.
Preparing and completing Presentation Slides (Townhall, Dynamic Forecast Slides, Ad Hoc slides etc.)
Ensure Execution of value chain mapping, Pricing Policy/Margin in-line with Agreed Strategies
Challenge pricing: benchmark against competitors' prices; reflect value propositions of products; improve price through product mixes; and are linked to internal P&L
Consolidation of Joint Business Plans to evaluate customer efficiencies, effectiveness and return on investments
Support Monthly Business Planning process – Monthly Sales Review Analytics.
Track & Review all the Sales related Policies.
Ensure all Contract and Customer files, bank guarantees etc are well kept
Preparing Trade-activity Post Evaluation tracker and ensuring timely post evaluation process & Drive Quarterly Review meetings.
What will make you successful
University degree in Finance/ IT-Data Analytics / Business Administration
Minimum 3-years' experience in finance with a background in sales.
Proven data analyst experience (2+ years) with proven track record in leveraging large complex data sets for driving business results.
Functional expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
Experience in data visualization and dashboarding, PowerBI.
Prior exposure to SAP.
Expertise in Excel.
Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
Able to collaborate internally & externally.
