Role Purpose: As Dealership Relations Officer you will be tasked with the role of promoting & growing Watu Gari's car financing portfolio by establishing and maintaining viable relationships with our partner car dealerships, driving & closing sales with clients, and, engaging & addressing client concerns in line with the company's vision, policies, and values with the objective of building and strengthening the company's reputation as a leading and reliable car financier in Kenya.  A successful Dealership Relations Officer is expected to adapt to the fast-paced culture of the company, the market, and the clients we serve.
Reporting Line: This role reports to the General Manager Watu Gari   Key Responsibilities: Cultivate good relationship(s) with the assigned car dealership(s) in your territory and create a viable environment to facilitate and/or promote the uptake/sale of Watu Gari's car financing product to potential clients visiting the dealership.
Build collaborative partnerships with the Field Sales & Marketing teams (from Watu Gari and the assigned dealerships) to participate in field campaigns, share important market information and build a viable customer sales pipeline within your territory.
Conduct customer education by presenting comprehensive car financing product information including our value proposition to all prospects/sales leads in line with the sales strategy and in response to clients' inquiries to attract and have a high conversion rate to meet the set sales targets.
Assess clients' financial ability to determine and recommend the best product configuration(s) to increase sales and build a quality Watu Gari car loan portfolio.   Document and report important key sales metrics on provided platforms.
This includes sales leads, closed sales, targets vs levels of achievement, etc to facilitate performance measurement in line with the set Key Performance Metrics.
Study, monitor, and analyze both Watu Gari and the assigned dealerships' consumer trends to identify customers behavior and make recommendations to the Dealership Relations Manager on possible business improvement plans Address queries from actual and potential customers, give timely feedback, and determine the right escalation protocol for timely resolution of complex issues in line with Watu Gari's customer complaints management guideline to uphold the company's reputation and positively influence the customer's long-term relationship with our products.   Process all loan requests for qualified customers in adherence to the established Watu Gari car loan processing guidelines while educating them on their obligation(s) during the loan repayment period to improve the loan repayment while reducing default incidences  Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required: Ability to communicate (verbal and written) and present effectively to create the desired business impact Strong sales and marketing skills with a focus on closing sales Good planning, organization, and analytical skills Ability to quickly strike a rapport with strangers and build meaningful and lasting business relationships A keen eye for detail Previous experience and/or readiness to learn on the go and to keep up-to-date with the developments in the automobile financing industry Proven track record of integrity while managing business transactions Relevant educational background Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Knowledge of automotive lending will be an added advantage What We Offer: Be a part of an international, dynamic, and  driven team that has set their aspirations high and works hard to achieve those Opportunities to learn and grow together with us Competitive compensation package  Health benefit One (1) year contract Do you see yourself being part of the WATU Gari team?
