Website: Regularly update content, optimize for SEO, and ensure a user-friendly experience that promotes our products and services, enhancing share capital contributions and loan uptake.
LinkedIn: Share professional content that showcases Kimisitu Sacco's achievements, opportunities, and industry insights, with a focus on attracting new members and investors.
X (formerly Twitter): Engage with followers through timely updates, discussions, and industry news, and utilize X Spaces for interactive sessions that drive deposit mobilization and membership growth.
Instagram: Curate visually compelling content that highlights the Sacco's culture, events, and member success stories, aimed at increasing brand loyalty and attracting new members.
TikTok: Create engaging short-form videos to capture the attention of a youngerdemographic, promoting loan products and membership benefits to expand our reach.
YouTube: Produce and manage video content that provides value to our members, such as educational videos, testimonials, and webinars, with a focus on increasing share capital contributions and loan sales.
SEO and Website Management: Ensure the website is optimized for search engines with up-to-date content that drives member sign-ups, deposit growth, and product engagement.
Trend Monitoring: Stay informed on the latest digital marketing and social media trends, including TikTok and YouTube marketing strategies, to keep Kimisitu Sacco at the forefront of the digital landscape.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure social media activities are aligned with overall marketing objectives, particularly in relation to our KPIs.
Community Engagement: Actively engage with followers, respond to comments and inquiries, and build a loyal online community that supports deposit mobilization and membership retention.
Content Calendar: Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent,
relevant, and timely posting across all platforms, aligned with our key performance
indicators (KPIs).
Analytics and Reporting: Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and LinkedIn Analytics to track and report on performance metrics related to membership recruitment, deposits, share capital contributions, and loan sales.
Knowledge: Qualifications & Experience
Pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
Personal Attributes required for this role:
Social Media Expertise: Familiarity with platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, X,
Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Content Management Systems (CMS): Basic knowledge of WordPress or similar
tools. SEO Knowledge: Understanding of search engine optimization and keyword research. Social Media Management Tools: Experience with tools like Hootsuite or Buffer. Graphic Design: Basic skills in tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop. Video Editing: Basic proficiency in software like Adobe Premiere or iMovie.
