Key Responsibilities:Driving institution vehicles as authorized;Carrying out routine checks on the vehicles;Detecting and reporting malfunctioning of vehicle systems;Maintain records of vehicles;Ensuring security and safety of the vehicle;Overseeing the safety of the passengers and or goods therein;Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle;Ensuring adherence to or observations of traffic laws; andReporting any incidents to the police and/or the office immediately they occur.Other duties as assigned by the Study CoordinatorVacancy Requirements:Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade of D+ or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;Valid driving license free from any current endorsements and valid for any of the classes of vehicles which the officer is required to drive;At least four years of continuous professional driving experience, two of which must be with a governmental or a non-governmental organizationPassed the Suitability Test for Drivers Grade III;Must be keen and attentive to details and have ability to follow instructions and procedures properly.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English and Kiswahili.
