Key responsibilities
Operational Management
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all plant and equipment assigned to departments and projects.
Supervise, schedule, assign, and evaluate work of subordinates.
Oversee stock room supplies, inventory, purchase orders, and billing through an inventory system.
Maintain forms and records necessary to provide billing, payroll, and equipment records.
Implement and monitor a preventative maintenance program to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Enforce safety practices and procedures and ensure employees receive appropriate safety training.
Monitor user departments through analysis of plant and equipment utilization and evaluation of equipment specifications.
Perform physical inspections and tests before plant/equipment is turned back to user departments.
Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate line manager.
Planning
Prepare next day's work plan.
People and Relationship Management
Train, coach, and manage the performance of subordinates effectively.
Instill a "one-family" culture and act as an ambassador for the company's vision, mission, and values.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare daily reports, observations, and non-conformance reports as necessary.
Prepare inspection reports.
Budget Management

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Education/Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Work experience:
Previous construction experience within the oil and gas and power industry.
Experience with high-voltage electrical installations, including switchgear and electric drives.
Exposure to hazardous area installations.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a comparable role.
