The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of all stages of film production Responsibilities Assist in setting up the Film school Create training plans, lesson plans, and session plans aligned with TVET/CDACC standards Create learning schedules to ensure that the curriculum is completed on time Maintain a safe, organized classroom, which supports students' independent learning, collaboration and choice Utilize a variety of effective instructional and management techniques Provide a variety of assessments and use assessments for planning and instruction Assist students in understanding the process and input required for the student portfolio of evidence Provide consistent, immediate feedback to student learning Elicit students' responses through analytical questioning Use available technology/instructional media to enhance the students' learning experiences Establish and maintain appropriate relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members by communicating in a tactful, courteous, and confidential manner Appropriately communicate and interact with other professional staff in academic planning Attend and participate in staff meetings and extra-curricular/school related activities Maintain a professional appearance, and demonstrate behavior that is conscientious and responsible Perform other job-related duties as assigned Ensure that they receive TVET accreditation Commit to continuous professional growth.
The Profile Requirements Bachelors' degree or equivalent in Film Production TVET accredited trainers will receive an added advantage Experience teaching film and video production, editing, cinematography techniques, photography, editing, and visual communication strategies proven with a strong portfolio Fluency in written and spoken English to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region Proficient with both MAC and PC platforms.
Software knowledge required: Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci resolve, Adobe After Effects Proficiency in the use of different cameras and filming gear Experience with web-based content management systems, video optimization and archival techniques Knowledge of the TVET/CDACC curriculum and other international curricula will be an added advantage Evidence of mastery of related subject matter, instructional skills, and resource materials for course(s) taught The Employer Our client is a youthful, creative and vibrant production company with a passion for crafting quality and engaging stories.
