The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of all stages of film productionResponsibilitiesAssist in setting up the Film schoolCreate training plans, lesson plans, and session plans aligned with TVET/CDACC standardsCreate learning schedules to ensure that the curriculum is completed on timeMaintain a safe, organized classroom, which supports students' independent learning, collaboration and choiceUtilize a variety of effective instructional and management techniquesProvide a variety of assessments and use assessments for planning and instructionAssist students in understanding the process and input required for the student portfolio of evidenceProvide consistent, immediate feedback to student learningElicit students' responses through analytical questioningUse available technology/instructional media to enhance the students' learning experiencesEstablish and maintain appropriate relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members by communicating in a tactful, courteous, and confidential mannerAppropriately communicate and interact with other professional staff in academic planningAttend and participate in staff meetings and extra-curricular/school related activitiesMaintain a professional appearance, and demonstrate behavior that is conscientious and responsible Perform other job-related duties as assignedEnsure that they receive TVET accreditationCommit to continuous professional growth.Ideal ProfileRequirementsBachelors' degree or equivalent in Film ProductionTVET accredited trainers will receive an added advantageExperience teaching film and video production, editing, cinematography techniques, photography, editing, and visual communication strategies proven with a strong portfolioFluency in written and spoken English to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the regionProficient with both MAC and PC platforms.Software knowledge required: Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci resolve, Adobe After EffectsProficiency in the use of different cameras and filming gearExperience with web-based content management systems, video optimization and archival techniquesKnowledge of the TVET/CDACC curriculum and other international curricula will be an added advantageEvidence of mastery of related subject matter, instructional skills, and resource materials for course(s) taughtWhat's on Offer?Great work environmentOpportunity to make a positive impactWork alongside & learn from best in class talent
