With headquarters in Washington, DC and Brussels, Belgium, our mission is to transform how individuals, organizations, and governments deal with conflict – away from adversarial approaches and toward cooperative solutions.

SFCG began working in Kenya following the post-election violence of 2007-2008, with the production of the TV drama "The Team".
Our programming seeks to promote peace and end violence, using radio programs, outreach activities, and support to local organizations.
Search Kenya programming is currently working in the Coastal region in Kwale, Kilifi, Mombasa, Lamu, Garissa and Tana River Counties.
Together with its implementing partners Search is implementing projects that seek to foster collaborative and inclusive community-led prevention of election-related conflicts in Coastal Kenya as well as peaceful and just societies where all enjoy freedom of religion and belief.

The work objectives below will be undertaken by the intern on the basis of 5 working days per week, with any days off agreed in advance with the supervisor.
The internship will be based in Garissa.
The period of the internship will last from January 2025 through June 2025.The internship may be terminated by either side by informing the other in writing, giving 1 months noticeThe prospective intern is required to have a laptop for ease of operations.
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Finance and AccountingCPA/ACCA part 1 will be an added advantage.Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent interpersonal skills and effective communication with a variety of stakeholders.Ability to maintain professionalism, creativity, and enthusiasm while working in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment with minimal supervisionCultural sensitivity.
