Finance Intern At Engie

Job Purpose/Mission
This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial accounting processes within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The intern will work closely with our finance team and contribute to various aspects of financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.
Responsibilities
Support the reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Aid in the analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Assist in conducting financial audits and compliance reviews as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
Help maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Support ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the finance team.

Knowledge and Skills
Experience:
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts.
Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Qualifications:
Fresh graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Good verbal and written communication in both:
English
Kiswahili

Technology:
Proficiency in technology required for the role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is a plus.
