Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support business decisions and store planning investments.
Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring that the company is protected against financial uncertainties
Oversee all banking activities not limited to communication, facilitation of funding and facility management and Banking relationships
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Oversee company investments and asset management to optimize financial performance.
Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure the company's liquidity and operational efficiency.
Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders, including the executive team, board of directors, and investors.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards and implement effective internal controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting; MBA or relevant master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Finance Manager).
Must be a CPA (K) or ACCA Finalist
Must have exposure to ERP conversions/adoptions or implementations
Strong leadership skills and ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels
Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.
Working Capital and investment capital management – Cash flow management.
Financial Modelling Skills
Strong Analytical ability in preparation and review of Financial statements
Ability to identify, implement and maintain a sound system of internal control and risk management in relation to financial reporting and to report to those charged with governance.
