As the Fleet Associate at Victory Farms, you will play a vital role in our Fleet Operations, reporting directly to the Logistics Team Lead. Your primary responsibility will be to support receiving, dispatch, coordination, ensuring the efficient movement of VF finished goods (fish), feeds or other materials as well as supervising staffs in your shift (cleaners, casuals and drivers).
Roles & Responsibilities:
Daily Route Planning and Execution:
Plan daily distribution routes in ERP Next for efficient branch fish delivery, ensuring optimal use of resources.
Communicate routes effectively to the distribution team for timely execution, minimizing delays and maximizing efficiency.
Track live distribution and proactively resolve any issues in collaboration with the Fleet Manager and Sales team to ensure smooth operations.
Logistics and Procurement Coordination:
Work closely with the procurement team to plan long-haul logistics and maintain real-time updates on truck locations.
Coordinate with Fleet capabilities to schedule maintenance and ensure truck hygiene, contributing to the longevity and reliability of the fleet.
Financial Oversight:
Participate in weekly accounts reconciliation with the Finance team to maintain oversight of fleet payables and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Monitor fuel levels and usage to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
System and Process Management:
Ensure all drivers adhere to ERPN processes, providing training and support as needed to maintain compliance.
Share daily Goods In Transit (GIT) variance reports with the manager according to Third Party Logistics (TPL) guidelines, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
Regulatory Compliance and Documentation:
Organize and maintain fleet documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, avoiding legal issues and penalties.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to fleet documentation processes.
Skills and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 1-2 years of experience in logistics, fleet management, or a similar role.
Proven experience with ERP systems, route planning and logistics management.
Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and transportation processes.
Experience with fleet management, including maintenance scheduling and fuel management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools.
