Gender Officer At County Government Of Nandi

Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical support in the day-to-day operations of the department at the sub county on implementation of Gender programmes.
Work closely with other agencies.
Build and maintain effective relationship with the relevant persons, the community groups and donors.
Coordinating and monitoring the promotion of awareness on harmful cultural practices and Gender Based Violence.
Coordinating and monitoring gender mentorship programmes at Sub County.

Requirements for Appointment;
Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Gender Studies, Community Development, Social Work, Psychology, Anthropology, Disability Studies or any other related field from a recognized university.
Certificate in computer application from a recognized institution.
