Responsible for the country human capital strategy that is aligned to the Groups people culture and strategy that contribute to a motivated workforce.
Forecasts resource requirements to enable business goals and objectives.
Responsible for a compelling Letshego employer brand that attracts diverse, experienced and capable talent.
Ensures performance management programs, supporting systems, and processes align with its strategy and goals and drive the annual country performance review process.
Responsible for talent development, succession planning and management programs.
Responsible for competitive rewards programs to attract and retain key players in a highly competitive industry.
Responsible for the succession planning process to ensure management and professional readiness to meet the subsidiary's growth plans.
Responsible for measuring metrics that support business goals, necessary aspects of human capital and training and development.
Responsible for learning and development program in line with business requirements
Ensure adherence to HC policies and procedures to promote a conducive working environment.
Responsible for promoting people wellness through implementation of wellness strategy.
Provide advice in disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Implement the strategies and policies approved by the Board, develop processes that adequately identify, measure, monitor and control Risks faced by the institution.
Requirements
A degree in Organizational Psychology, Human Resource Management or equivalent
A Masters' degree in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration or a relevant field will be an added advantage
Minimum of 10 years working experience in human resources management with 5 years in human resource senior management role
Membership of professional association
Knowledge and experience in labour law, compensation, organisational planning, talent acquisition, organisational development, employee relations, employee engagement, employee safety and wellness and building organisational capability.
Demonstrable leadership abilities with solid communication skills
Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced & challenging environment.
Strong interpersonal skills, keen to motivate and effectively educate and connect department managers and employees regarding all HR matters.
Ability to secure business future growth through breakthrough thinking, driving for growth, strategic insight, growing talent and understanding the business landscape.
