About the role.The hospital is seeking to attract interested and qualified applicants to fill the position of a Hospital Pharmacist.Key Responsibilities Overseeing safe dispensing procedures and ensuring safe drug use processes.Safe and accurate drug preparation techniques.Promoting service excellence and client satisfaction:Proactively engaging in follow up of client concerns and timely feedback.Ensuring efficient pharmacy service flow by managing turn-around-times.Participating in Quality Initiatives:Reviewing and implementing quality processes and proceduresEffective stock monitoring for optimal stock levelsStock variance reporting and controlPreparation and timely submission of expected reports such as medication error report, interventions, stock variance and client satisfaction reports.Working with other healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review, or evaluate the quality or effectiveness of drugsDrugs Stock TakingOrdering and purchasing pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, or drugsEnsure Patients’ SafetyAny other duties as may be assigned by the management. Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university.Registered with the Pharmaceutical and Poisons Board of Kenya.Valid practicing CertificateExcellent Public Relations and Communication skills.Aptitude in problem-solving and decision-making.Good knowledge of drug administration and health & safety guidelines
