Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Hotel IT Specialist with expertise in hotel management systems (Hotel Plus, Ezzy Burb, or equivalent) and a strong understanding of CCTV operations. This role is critical in supporting our hotel's technology infrastructure to ensure seamless operations, security, and exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities
Hotel System Management (Hotel Plus, Ezzy Burb, or Equivalent)
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the hotel management system to ensure smooth daily operations, including reservations, check-ins, billing, and housekeeping.
Train staff on system use, update user protocols, and maintain data integrity.
Perform regular system updates, backups, and audits to support uninterrupted service and data security.
CCTV System Management
Install, monitor, and maintain the CCTV systems for reliable surveillance and security.
Inspect cameras and systems regularly, troubleshooting and arranging repairs as needed.
Ensure compliance with hotel security policies and data privacy standards related to video surveillance.
General IT Support
Assist with daily technical support for POS systems, guest Wi-Fi, office equipment, and network issues.
Document and manage IT support tickets, ensuring quick resolution to minimize downtime.
Network and Data Security
Oversee the network infrastructure, ensuring reliable, secure connectivity for both guests and staff.
Implement security measures, such as antivirus, firewalls, and access controls, to protect hotel and guest data.
Vendor Coordination and IT Asset Management
Work with vendors for software updates, hardware repairs, and other services as needed.
Manage IT inventory, ensuring availability and maintenance of essential hardware and software.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience: Minimum 2 years of IT experience within the hotel or hospitality industry.
Technical Expertise: Proficient in Hotel Plus, Ezzy Burb, or other hotel management systems; strong knowledge of CCTV systems.
Educational Background: Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Skills: Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
