Overall Responsibility
The Human Resources Officer is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and other HR functions.
The role involves ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures, maintaining employee records, and providing support to employees and management.

Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinating and managing the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
Conducting the initial interviews and participating in the selection process.
Conducting new employee orientations and onboarding processes.
Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Communicating and explaining HR policies to employees and ensuring adherence.
Participating in policy reviews and updates.
Assisting in the implementation and administration of performance appraisal systems.
Supporting managers in conducting performance reviews and setting development goals for employees.
Tracking and documenting employee performance and providing feedback.
Supporting the Head of Human Resources in enhancing staff retention.
Identifying staff training needs and assist in organizing training and development programs.
Supporting the implementation of employee development plans.
Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements
Ensuring compliance and adherence to company policies, procedures, rules and other operational guidelines.

Person Specifications
University degree in Business/ social related studies.
A professional Human Resource qualification e.g CHRP K, Higher Diploma.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Human Resource management & Administration roles in a medium organization.
