Roles and Responsibilities
Manage the ICT infrastructure and server of the SACCO through planning and organizing systems for efficient and effective business operations.Develop and communicate disaster mitigation and recovery plans in-case of system failure/malfunction to ensure business continuity.
Support the DR site failovers as per outlined SACCO schedules.
Liaising with the system vendors to implement new processes and/or fixing system related issues to enhance operations.
Maintain an accurate account of all changes in the System.
Ensuring that data and system backups are effectively administered using local and/or cloud backups.
Maintain an accurate and up to date ICT Asset Register.
Managing the surveillance system and ensuring that reliable footage backups are accessible whenever required.
Ensuring that all workstations are always up and working normally.
Supporting all departments in reports development from the system.
Training users on deployed SACCO systems.
Ensuring 100% availability and security of the SACCO ICT infrastructure.
Facilitate development, implementation and review of ICT policies.
Coordinate the formulation and the implementation of ICT projects.
Handling the Sacco's main email by addressing and responding to members mail as per set timelines.
Follow any other job-related instructions and perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience
Appointment to the position will be made from persons who:
Are holders of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT related field.
Has a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience, 2 of which must be in a similar role.
Project Management skills will be an added advantage.
